Since this poor slug-thing doesn't have a thread of his own, I thought I'd start one.
This particular discussion will be interesting as it continues the theories Prime Good and I have set forth in the ORIGINAL DEMATERIALIZER thread.
So...in "Laser and Future Rock", Corpulon says he wants revenge on Futura for her putting him into Ghost Limbo.
It is my theory that Ghost Limbo is where the Dematerializer sends ghosts: more like an interdimensional prison than anything. It doesn't entirely work in the Animated Series, however, because there's now a "hole" right near the entrance to Ghost Limbo. This hole is the Scareway, where Prime Evil is able to intercept ghostly beings headed there and transport them to Hauntquarters instead.
Any other thoughts on this ghostly Jabba the Hutt? Discuss.

Corpulon apart ( ), so the Ghost Limbo is not "where they come from" (cit.: Jake Kong Jr.)... or not? Is the Ghost Limbo a different dimension from either the Ghost World and the Fifth Dimension?

Corpulon apart ( ), so the Ghost Limbo is not "where they come from" (cit.: Jake Kong Jr.)... or not? Is the Ghost Limbo a different dimension from either the Ghost World and the Fifth Dimension? Let's take a look at "limbo" first. It's a word that brings to mind an inability to escape...a bit like the Underworld of Greek/Egyptian mythology, which is where all spirits go to live the rest of their "lives." What FGB seems to imply is that there are ghosts with bad intentions who want to remain in our world and cause as much havoc as they can, BUT a hole is only found every once in a while--a small one at that--and nobody knows what time/space coordinates each hole leads to. That is where the Dematerializer comes in: it sends the ghosts back into Ghost Limbo, by which time the hole has already sealed up. In Corpulon's case, Prime Evil's activities must have enabled him to escape from this Limbo, and come back to settle a score. In short, I believe the Ghost Limbo thing is a bit like Yu-Gi-Oh's Shadow Realm, except it doesn't have quite the same implications of censorship!

So maybe Jake was referring to the ghosts once imprisoned and now "free" again... it does fit! The Ghost Limbo must be a prison. I bet not ALL the ghosts are willing to plague our dimension, however. After all, they already have a world to inhabit... The Ghost World."Corpulon"... d**n, what a weird name! In Italian, "Corpo" means "body"

The term "corpulent" means "very fat", so I guess it describes him to a tee.
"Gyaaaaahhhh! I *need* that!"
