This episode was good in both in character development of Eddie and Prime Evil, and introduces the one time use of Dematerializer Net, which Tracy was shown thinking out how to make. The Thunder ghosts were sort of fun too. Without a doubt a top 10 episode. Fact is, you can create 40 more Ghost Weapons by yourself. That's how the FGB universe works. It's very open. Actually, Sony Ghostbusters had its weekly gadgets too. like the Ecto-Bomb in The Boogieman Comith. And the Ecto-1 had jumpers, raft setting, and cannon on top of the Ecto. Hey they had new vechels introduced all the time. So yeah both serieses did that.

I'm talking about the chance to create some "fan made" gadgets for the FGBs.

I completely agree Old Bean! There are tons of possibilities for fan made equipment! Both GB words have tons of room for creativity and improvement, just look at Ghostbusters the video game the proton pack does like a hundred different things now besides shooting ion streams!
I think FGB has even more room for it sonce there is really only three very well established tools of the trade! Sony GB'S have a specific formula proton packs, and traps, then its bye bye for the ghost as they check into the containment unit!
At the time it must have been hard to not try and copy RGB or make anything to similar to what ever they used! That's probably one of the reasons they came up with Jakes ghost sense as not to rip off the pke meter! In real life there are tons of practical gadgets and equipment that are used by real ghost hunters that can be applied into the FGB universe. The possibilities are endless especially since Tracy would improvise at the last minute and make something that was specific to the villain they were facing!
Sorry if I got off topic a little.

You're right 100%, the technological universe of FGB is much more open to innovations and "some good breaking of the rules", isn't it? Other than that, Tracy is supposed to be an absolute genius, and we had extensive proof of it during the series.

Yeah, That's what I truly meant. He got a special "ingenuity" for special situations... he just has to pull it off. Eddie seems to shine when he has confidence in himself. His self-doubt and self-deprecation hold him back from showing himself and the others that he's got talent and skills useful in ghostbusting, even if he sometimes arrives at it in a weird way. This episode shows it (as does a couple of others).
Eddie seriously lacks confidence as a ghostbuster. Jake makes matters worse with some of his comments that he'd be better off not saying at all. That is one of Jake's weaknesses--as a leader, he needs to realize that what he says or how he reacts can have an effect on his teammates either positive or negative and could potentially impact the success or failure of a job or teammate.
But, back to this episode--yes, I agree with others who've posted here, that there was a bit of character development for Eddie, Prime Evil, and Haunter.
This too, was one of my favorite episodes.
