Hey everyone (Zack ;D),
Just wondering. WHAT EPISODES either the Ghostbusters and/or Futura travel in time, affecting history? How many episodes Futura appears in Ghostbusters's present time, or any past time for instance?
I'm in the process to write a definitive GB timeline(s), so I truly need to know!

Wow, let me look through the guide and see which ones I can pick out. I'll Be a Son of a Ghostbuster- they go to the future to try and find their dads Frights of the Roundtable-back in time to Camelot No Pharaoh At All- back in time to ancient Egypt The Secret of Mastadon Valley- back to dinosaur times The Ones Who Save the Future- I know they're back in time, don't know if they go to the future at all Witches Stew- back to Salem witch trial days Cyman's Revenge- to the future in outer space Laser and Future Rock- to the future Dynamite Dinosaurs- back to prehistoric times again Ghostbunglers- back to ancient Rome My Present to the Future- I forget if they go to the future or just look into the future. The Haunting of Gizmo- I'm not sure, I know Prime Evil's ghosts go to the future, I'd have to look. That's No Alien- I think they go to the future The Bad Old Days- back to ancient Babylon Like Father, Like Son- back to cowboy times I think thats it, its hard to tell a lot from just reading the descriptions in the DVD guides info. It generally says whether they go back or forward or not.

OH. MY. GOD. This timeline went reformatted SO MANY TIMES that my head is spinning right now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm also wondering in WHAT episodes they somehow influenced the known historical events... I guess in all the episodes they "affected" the natural flux of the space/time continuum. Is somewhere mentioned what is Futura's origin future year? What we REALLY know about Futura?

In the Haunting of Gizmo the Ghostbusters go to the future to stop Prime Evil from using Futura's brother Morrow's new robots as weapons of destruction.
Sorry I haven't posted lately.

It make take me a bit to get around to watching some again. I sort of went through a marathon of watching them all when I got the DVDs so it might take me a little while to want to watch a few again I'll let you know some details as I watch them

Scuotiossa, This is for you. I've fully changed my mind on the subject, maybe time travel in the series is supposed to follow the criteria of 'Predestination Paradox': en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predestination_paradoxSee 'Twelve Monkeys', starring Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt. The best movie depicting this "model" of time travel so far. The Ghostbusters or the ghosts can't change the past... they are part of that same past everytime they travel backwards... it's everything already "set in the stone" from the start, so to speak.

Wow, there are some spellbinding examples in that article. I haven't seen Twelve Monkeys, maybe I should. Travelling in time is a very interesting part of FGB and it doesn't seem difficult at all. It's interesting all along how it can influence the reality.

In fact, the 'Predestination Paradox' explains everything ... I was known to this theory. Even though I believe more than that says that traveling in time create branches and thunderstorms. Example. Imagine I return back in 1987 to revive the period Filmation's Ghostbusters. Imagine that I decide to stay at that time, there would be two future: one in which I am party and never returned and .... one in which there are two me, a younger and an older. Thanks Prime Good!
