Thanks. Of course, I can't possibly be the only female out there that enjoyed this show as a kid.

Yes, Jake seems quite perfect in everything and I think Eddie would be like that too but it doesn't work. I like him because of that. If FGB ever got revived, I think the Jake/Eddie relationship would be given a slightly darker twist, with Jake being something of a bully (though more on the "arrogant" side of it) at times--in this way, he and Prime Evil would be so much alike--but, when Jake gets his comeuppance, Eddie doesn't hesitate to go in and save him, and everyone comes away having learned something. In my planned fanfiction piece, I was kind of thinking about going this route. Or, I could give it the Dallas (TV show) treatment. You know, something drove a wedge between them, now they and their families have rival ghostbusting companies, try to undercut each other, that sort of thing. Just an idea, and Eddie would definitely get his chance to shine. ;D

Well, I was getting sick of the fact that no one really depicts Eddie and Jake having any real conflict. I figured hey, why not have them at each other's throats? I haven't quite decided which one will channel J.R., but whoever it is, it'll make for an interesting story. The only spoiler I will have is that no matter how he's depicted, Eddie will triumph!

Do you remember the episode »The Bind That Ties«? I love this episode, because after all Eddie saves the day! And this is only one example. You should never do the mistake to underestimate him. And that is not least like a trump card for the team to play, when everyone has the focus on Jake! And I'm sure Jake knows that. I'm very excited to read your fanfiction, 1980'S Cartoon Junkie! It sounds very interesting!

In my opinion it's the best episode ever! Eddie is fantastic, Voodon is fantastic, and the message speaks right from my heart! And Jake's doing a very good job in that episode - don't forget!

It was an amazing episode and it showed why Eddie was so special and pivotal into the team. I'm glad others loved it. Great character development.

Tracy and Eddie are hanging from a lamppost, with Fangster attached to the Specter Snare. It was in that episode with the kid and the telescope.
