I wondered if anyone here was a big Kong fan. I liked the 2005, 1976 and 1933 versions. I haven't seen any others yet, except King Kong vs Godzilla, many years ago. I know Mr. Bob Burns is a big Kong fan, and he has a cameo with his wife in King Kong 2005. He also owns the original 1933 Kong, himself!

I'm a big fan of the original Kong, and the great 1932 novelization, and the Peter Jackson remake. I haven't seen '70's version.

I love the 1976 version starring Jeff 'The Dude' Bridges and Jessica Lange. That is ace! Wondering if they will deliver a remastered version on BD. Wow man, you got a different reason to be here. Tracy is very King Kong-ish. ;D

Yup, and there's even a couple of Kong jokes in GB75, I believe.

Yup, and there's even a couple of Kong jokes in GB75, I believe. Find'em all and post! I believe Kong made a pretty clear King Kong joke in the scene in "The Vikings Have Landed" when Tracy climbed outside the window and around the building.

I think another King Kong joke is in the "Dr. Whatshisname" episode. Kong warns Spencer not to mention the Empire State Building, as Tracy's grandfather had a terrible experience there, or somesuch.

I too am a fan of the original. Love the bug/monster pit sequence! I don't much like the Peter Jackson remake. Something about his movies (LOTR included) rub me the wrong way everytime I try to watch them.
