YES! VERY COOL packaging for He-Man and BraveStarr! We know they would also do a great job on FGB (though I love the current FGB DVD packages, I'm saying if they had to change it, this proves they'd still look great!) If this issue of He-Man is the same as the original DVD art, then sorry I don't know because I don't have them on DVD yet, but I would like to, for sure! There are no words to describe how it feels for me watching those shows from my early years..."magical" will have to do, for now...

GhostBuggy, I bet Mill Creek will go down the FGB path during 2011 or 2012. Anyway, they are aiming at it! This is fantastic.

Because by 1988 Filmation was experiencing a crisis and a progressive downhill. It was over. Ratings and international impact were great for both the series, but by 1988 Filmation was over and FGB with it.

Yes indeed. And there's a documentary about Lou on youtube, and at the end it describes how Filmation ended. It's quite emotional, too. Lou, his family, friends, Filmation and it's fans, all rock forever!

very good documentary thank you ghostbuggy It was the end of a golden era, the eighties and all their magic. You cannot repeat that by any stretch of imagination nowadays. The nineties had been so-so at best, and the 00ies are just horrid. Sorry for the nihilistic approach. ;D

well i think the 90's was the best for cartoons for one reason...BATMAN "Batman: TAS" was great, yes! But overall, the 90's to me weren't as great for cartoons (or other entertainent and art) as many make it out to be. (Though I love a lot of very early 90's cartoons, because obviously there was still a big 80's influence on them!) very good documentary thank you ghostbuggy You're very welcome! Glad you liked the Lou Documentary - I know I did. He seems like the best boss one could ever have. And in his recent interviews on youtube, he's still super cool! I was also moved by his discussion with Bill Cosby, and I think they're both great. It was the end of a golden era, the eighties and all their magic. You cannot repeat that by any stretch of imagination nowadays. The nineties had been so-so at best, and the 00ies are just horrid. Sorry for the nihilistic approach. ;D I really agree 100%. You said it all there, perfectly. By the way, I'd like to see more of the first animated Joker - voiced by Larry storch! So far, I only recall seeing/hearing him in a Scooby Doo episode with Batman.
