The first movie when the Grizwolds hopped in the "Wagon Queen Family Truckster" and went to Wally World was also a classic. My friend and I went to see the new live-action movie of Alvin and the Chipmunks. I thought that the movie was well-done with classic Chipmunk music in it. I remember in the animated series episode "Who Ghost There?" when they sang Ray Parker's "Ghostbusters" song. When I think about it, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore came out way back in the 50's, and their personalities are kind of like Peter, Egon, and Ray! I always liked the Chipmunks and especially the Chipettes.

Oh yeah - the original "Vacation" - I need to go back and watch it again.
I was hoping Alvin and the Chipmunks was good. I well remember the cartoon and even had the Ghostbusters episode on tape!! My wife and I are hoping to see the movie this weekend. Thanks for the heads up!

I went to see the remake of Shutter a while ago. I thought it was pretty good, even though I'm not usually partial to horror movies, but it seemed a little cardboardy, even for a horror movie.
Nasty little ghost girl, though.

The last movie I watched was Silent Hill on DVD. I have seen it a couple of times since I own it, but still love it!
