Precisely. It's a mere gimmick--users could pretty much get away with threads titled "blobby blobby blobby", just to make it look like a popular section. Nice Scrubs reference. And it's not a bad idea. There seems to be such bad blood between the two types of GBs. I know several of us here enjoy both. Might not be bad to at least show we're willing to bridge the gap.

Let's give a great big hand to Mr. Rudoff!
(*looks up and notices the oversized papier-mache prop hand descending from the ceiling*)
No, no, I didn't mean THAT kind of "great big hand," I meant a "great big round of applause" kind of great big hand.
Oh...it's a message from Zero? I wonder how big the explosion will be for this one!

I'm trying to do that, Texan Wonder. I know, and personally I think you're doing a great job. It seems to be mostly CGB fans that are closed minded.

I know, and personally I think you're doing a great job. It seems to be mostly CGB fans that are closed minded. Don't forget, they've grown up with theirs--just as we've grown up with ours--and they view the Filmation franchise as the impostor, a position which hasn't been helped by RGB's repeated digs at the Filmation franchise (Dr. Basingame's costume, Peter's derogatory remarks about "having a gorilla", and others), but Filmation's Ghostbusters was STILL the first animated series...at least I THINK that was the case, but, on the interviews, Lou Scheimer's wording of it was bad, so it's still ambiguous.

His wording of the RGB/FGB controversy. One the one hand, you have the side that says RGB was the first Animated Series, and that FGB was the knockoff, but on the other hand, you have the side that says FGB was developed before RGB came out. I'm inclined to believe the latter (FGB came first), because in the case of RGB, they had less "homework" to do.

FGB was much more "elaborated", since they created a whole universe from a scratch. Also, the very first aired series out of the two is FGB. I think this controversy has no solutions if RGBs fans don't admit (to themselves) that it's not about having the same title, but also an INCREDIBLE similarity of concepts --- between the 1984 movie and the 1975 live action TV series, I mean.

I like the new design as well.
It's nice that Spook Central linked us.
As for other animation forums you could try 80scartoons.net. I'm a member there and I have the link to the board in my sig there.

Yeah, I did a new design almost incidentally. Ripway screw it up for few days: the hosting site just disappeared. Then, I picked new pics and thought: "let's do this again". LOL.

A good idea to encourage people to come visit our site, remixes of FGBs music, special art, screen savers and desktop themes... we do not do it for money, so I believe should be legal if we allow download of our personal art based on the FGB cartoon or the TV serial? In screen saver form and the rest, of course! Give free stuff to people, they will come
