I was in a Sams Club today and I was looking through the movies section, and at the very end of the isle, I come across the little seasonal section of kids and miscellaneous dvds. After taking a quick look through, a three pack set caught my eye, and lo-and-behold, the three pack contained a ghostbusters cartoon dvd! I was a bit suprised by it because I know the original dvd sets are out of print. It looks like Classic Media is reprinting Ghostbusters again! (I know Prime Good ir someone had posted about a possible reprinting, and it looks like it will be in priduction again.)
Also, one of the dvds in the pack was of the show "Groovy Ghoulies". I thought that was awesome because one of the main characters is voiced by our zoot suit wearing Ghostbuster Larry Storch! ;D (The character he voices is "Drac" Dracula)

That's my guess...

It's classic media, says so on the box along with Vivendi entertainment and copyright print date of 2011. :3 I should have mentioned that before. ^_^; As for your link, I wish I could have found that one too. But the tripple set I found seemed to have been more of a half thought out, three discs bunched together in plastic wrapping, quick sale of a seasonal like item than looking profesional like that one. Oh! And while I'm on the subject of the dvds, the disc I have of the Ghostbusters has four episodes on it. They are Mummy Dearest, Shades of Dracula, The White Whale, and Like Father, Like Son. (Halloween theme, anyone?)

This kinda suggests that MILL CREEK didn't acquire the rights to Ghostbusters? They re-issued He-Man, She-Ra, Bravestarr. I wrote a comment on the wall of the official Facebook page.

I think they're just not printing FGB. It's all part of the (existing) Filmation library...you buy the rights to all the titles in bulk.

Okay: They (Mill Creek) revealed me that they didn't acquire the rights to FGB and Classic Media still owns them.

Does Classic Media print its own DVDs? I thought they were just a rights distribution company.

I think it's odd that they would buy the rights to He-Man, She-Ra and Bravestarr but not Ghostbusters. Hopefully whoever owns them now will re-release the entire sereis on DVD.
