... as it was meant to be, but an alternate dimension. Just a possibility, I mean. 1- No Zero mentioned. 2- Tracy is younger. 3- The dads are younger too. 4- The dads didn't know about the Ghost Command's secrets, and no Ghost Command or sons were ever mentioned in the original series anyway. 5- The dads' "original" Ghost Buggy wasn't the one featured by the TV series at all (that was a normal inhorganic car). 6- Two different locations for both the series (MAYBE). 7 - Some slight differences in the Dematerializer and its functions. Any feedback? This is gonna be controversial a bit, I guess. ;D ;D ;D

The Demat still works the same, but ghosts aren't banished for as long as they should be.

Just as the others said, he could have retired (like the srs did), but he could also gone on a secret mission. You never know. 2. Could be a Tracey jr. (The jr. part never thought to be mentioned) Could also explain the change on his fur color. 3. The dads have been in contact with beings of magical powers, it could be just as likely that as a thank you, they were granted a spell to make them younger. 4. The office looked to be in a high, yet decayed building that may not be near new york while ghost command is (was, unfortunately) in between the twin towers in NY,NY. The ghost command could have been bought by zero and renovated to expand the ghost busting business and recently (after the live series ended) moved the sr.s to NY with their families visiting from time to time. And all of the bone and living furniture could have been from Zero to help them when he disappeared. 5. How ever the living furniture came to be, the original ghost buggy could have undergone the same treatment (also alternating a few other aspects) to bring it to life. 6. See four. XD 7. They say cartoon Tracey made all the gadgetry, who's to say he didn't learn from Zero, or reversed engineer the original dematerializer? That could put the story in canon, but there are still loose ends. Edit: So I do agree that the cartoon is its own canon.

I think the most fascinating aspect is the fact that YOU viewer must connect the two series through wit and brain. That truly makes things much more interesting and stimulating. Said that, please tell me more about the episode "Fountain Of Youth", that could be the key to the rejuvenation process the dads underwent!

A small amount of... interesting medication helps, too. ;D Said that, please tell me more about the episode "Fountain Of Youth", that could be the key to the rejuvenation process the dads underwent! What episode?! I never said the mission was televised!

Here's something to think about:
The '86 cartoon is not a sequel, but a total reboot of the '75 series. The characters, names, and setting are all the same, but it's a completely new continuity.

That's my point. Instead of a total "reboot", I would say a "reimagining". Like the upcoming Mad Max movie.
