Has it been officially stated that 'Tracy, come home' (from DVD set #1) and 'Like father, like son' (from DVD set #2) are taken from PAL sources? And why only those two episodes out of 65 gems? Weird. Is the PAL speed-up (4%) so evident on those, anyway?

I seem to remember that now. I think it's those episodes? But as soon as the theme song came on, I noticed something was a little odd. The song was in a slightly higher key, and I remember the whole episode was a little faster. I don't think the average person would notice but a diehard FGB fan would

I don't think the average person would notice but a diehard FGB fan would Zacky, I've read that on WIKIPEDIA. Wondering if they have been "damaged" by the PAL speed-up effect... is it so evident?

The quality of everything seemed about the same as the others I think, just the audio was a little different. The characters voices and everything was a little higher if I remember.

I was gonna post a comparison. The difference is ever so slight. Everything has a slightly higher pitch, the theme song and the voice of the characters. The picture didn't seem different at all.

I see... but I'm more concerned for the video quality, hope it's as much good as in the other 63 episodes from NTSC source.

Nix? Tooncapone? Wondering what's your response. Unfortunately I don't have the Volume 2 set, so I am unable to comment. I am looking at it, though, and I'll buy it at the first opportunity, even if it is $30 at Best Buy... Wish I'd kept the $10 receipt from K/B Toys...could've used it to my advantage...

Nix, In the first set there's 'Tracy, come back' which was taken from a PAL source, so you can already make a comparison.

The video isn't noticeable at all.
