Imagine if Filmation's Ghostbusters were to get a huge revival in much the same way Ghostbusters: The Video Game is doing right now. I ask you: What would you imagine this revival to consist of? Here's my list to get you started off on the right foot: - New animated series
- Toyline (in similar style to Kenner's RGB line)
- Computer game series--a crossbreed of Carmen Sandiego and the upcoming GB Game

Nix, What about a re-airing on some American channel?

That *could* work, though I don't know how kids would receive either the '75 or the '86 show today. Considering the recent trends in animation, I'd say...not very well. The original FGB is kind of "of its time", really...

Nix,
I'm confident that the new generations can go far beyond the "usual" amount of cartoonized CGI crap they experience day by day and even appreciate a vintage but timeless cartoon like 'Filmation's Ghostbusters'. Then, again, what was good once is good tomorrow, no matter what.

CGI...a very interesting point. I suppose it could be live-action, but more in the style of the Super Sentai/Power Rangers. It could save a lot of money, given that it'd be the ghosts of the Sentai monsters, but...what about Prime Evil? Do you think the Jim Henson company could give us an animatronic skull with CG elements?

Too bad they had pulled out one of the worst DVD releases for Lion-O & Company.

a computer game would be great. Especially if they could get all/most of the voices back. Even though Pat Fraley said it's hard to do Jake's voice now.

- Haunter
- Fangster
- Scarechrome
- Ansabone
- Ghostbuggy
- Madame Why

1- RE-run of either live action TV series and animated series on a very popular American channel (your guess?) 2- Celebrative set of deluxe action figures.3- An official convention for ALL the Go-ers out of there. Am I asking too much? Doesn't seem so. Not to me, at least!
