Well... Ectobuggy, an Italian Go-er posting on the Italian sub-section of our forum, made me notice this. In the episode, it is strongly implied that some alien superhuman animals were "banished" on our planet Earth in the ancient past. Could Tracy be the descendant of alien supergorillas inhabiting the jungles of our planet, hidden from human eyes? It seems fascinating to think.

Hello Extreme Intelligence; Super Strength; two of the traits Tracy has that modern gorilla's do not have, so he would have to have gotten it from someone, somewhere or somehow. Also considering reports of Pterodactyls and Mokele-mbembe among other creatures deep in jungles where man does not wish to go, a family or tribe of super-gorillas would be amazing. Of course, I would love for Tracie to be part of DC's Gorilla City. www.cbr.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/gorilla-city-map.jpgBlessings

My own head-canon is that Zero gave Tracy advanced strength and intelligence in the far future. There's one reason why it's useful to have an animal on a Ghostbusting team: Being a gorilla, Tracy can see through magical glamours that the human Ghostbusters might fall for (as Spenser did when an ugly witch turned herself into a hawt babe).

Yeah, but the specific episode I mentioned could be a cool "attempt" to give Tracy a Zero-unrelated significant origin which also opens the door for many other stories. It remins me of Monsieur Mallah, Doom Patrol's enemy.

I'd have to watch "Great Ghost Gorilla" again. It's been a while, and the Discontinuity Guide needs an update.

On a side note with this episode, this is the ONLY episode I believe where we see the team actually doing something after a job. Granted, Skelevator had its fun with them, it was still nice to see a little snippet of an after-mission. By the sounds of it since they asked Skelevator to go to third floor (not second where the office is), they were headed for bed.
