Hey Nix,
This is for you. What's the best DOC WHO series, and WHY?
Tell us more. I never was "WHOIZED" before...

Oh, God, that's the one question a good Doctor Who fan never asks. It's really subjective, that's all. For every regeneration of the Doctor, you got a different producer/script editor/style. Every series has its own unique feel, but I have to admit, the New Series is the definitive incarnation of Doctor Who.
Might be a good idea to start with that and work your way backwards. You should be able to find the first three William Hartnell (1963-1966) stories in Italian, Mr. Primegood--I saw it advertised on an Italian website last year.

They are starting to sell some Dr. Who DVD sets here. They look nice in terms of packaging. Expensive, even... Wondering about the picture quality.

Yeah it is a UK thing. To be honest the really old stuff is bollocks. The new stuff is pretty good. If you want a truly great UK Sci Fi show watch Red Dwarf

Wondering about the picture quality. Beautiful, now that the Restoration Team has restored all the black-and-white ones.

Sad news: David Tennant is leaving after 2009/2010. I was kinda hoping he'd stay for longer, but he's an actor, and he needs to find other work. Should I get some plane tickets to Wales and audition for a continuation of the 10th Doctor part? Here's but one of my credentials:

OUCH, man... you look very... English! ;D ;D ;D ;D Yeah, I get that a lot. But do I look like David Tennant? Someone once told me that I look more like a Labour MP than DT.
