I was wondering this. (strange thread, I know) Should Futura, Ghost Buggy and Time Hopper be considered "official" members of the 1986 Ghostbusters squad? Futura comes from the future, but she is a Ghostbuster as well. I'm wondering if she can be considered a "temporary member" everytime she meets/joins Jake & company, or just a "Ghostbuster of the future time" working along with our heroes. Time Hopper is her vehicle... but she is sentient and do her "ghostbusting thing" anyway. Ghost Buggy is a "living" being, and an equipped ghostbusting vehicle... should it be considered part of the roster, or just "their vehicle"?

When I hear or read "Ghostbusters" I usually think of Jake, Eddie and Tracy. Of course Futura is a Ghostbuster too, but from the future and not from the regular time. Ghost Buggy and Time Hopper just support them as their vehicles. This was my opinion before this thread. I'm not sure if it's correct at all... Ghost Buggy was even made as a wax figure together with the Ghostbusters.

Futura in my opinion can be considered one of them ... He had the fragment of the stone tablet, knew them and was always contacted them with a confidential tone ... Knowing the values of jake, Eddie and Tracy, undoubtedly consider her one of them ...

no, no, to me it's just a trio, futura is cool but she is a supporting character and the first ghostbusting female, that's it. leave the vehicles alone, also

In my opinion, all are part of a group winner ... Unable to think of one without the other...

In my opinion, all are part of a group winner ... Unable to think of one without the other... I tend to agree with you. That's why I opened this thread. I feel like Futura belongs to them on a deeper level. And yes, in part I agree with Jake Kong Third, the vehicles are just that: (talking and sentient) vehicles. ;D

GB had a thing for Time Hopper Naw, I think he had a thing for Futura. NAW, I can sure you that GB (Ghost Buggy?) was trying to romanticize its life with the Time Hopper. ;D
