I decided to finally make a character discussion about the man himself, Prime Evil. So what is he? Is he a ghost, a wizard or both? I know he is from the future since he uses a lot of technology and he has very powerful magic and is ammune to the Dematerializer and has the power to bring the other ghosts back after they have been sent to limbo.

"LIMBO" MODE = molecular dissolution or lack of cohesion between ghostly moleculas. That's why it is called "Dematerializer". Said that, I don't see him coming from the "future" of Ghost World like Fangster does. We don't really know the level of "technology" the Ghost World achieved... Prime Evil could be the equivalent of a "cyborg spectre", as far as we know.

I know Scared Stiff is a robot ghost so Prime Evil might not be too far off there. Maybe they're from similar time frames? I seem to remember somewhere it says he's a wizard, rivaled only in power by Merlin? I always thought it would be cool if Prime Evil was sort of a tragic villain like Darth Vader. I dunno. Would be cool if he had some cool backstory.

MINE: I have an idea that he was one of the first ever ghosts, and that a wizard trapped his soul inside a specially-created pipe organ, which over the years would start to absorb some of Prime Evil's excess negative energy, until it became powerful enough to serve as his Bone Troller. And then some idiot in the future hits just the right key to release him...

I believe that Prim Evil is simply the lord of ghosts, or one of the most powerful ghosts in circulation (there could be others like him). What exactly is not able to understand. Sometimes he is defined magician.

Or it could be that he's far less important than he thinks he is, but nobody will ever point this out.

Sometimes he is defined magician. Oh yeah, he is a sort of "given paradigm" or axiom. Surely as hell he is part machine, part magician, but all "ghost"... in the way "ghosts" are meant to be in the Filmation universe, of course. It seems he had once been cibernetically-enhanced, but that must have happened in the Ghost World long time ago (centuries?).

Y'know how he was originally meant to look like the Grim Reaper?
Well...in the script I'm writing in the Fan Projects section (and I should take care to edit that bit later on) I have an explorer and his android go down into a cave, where they find a mysterious pipe organ. When they accidentally hit the keys of the organ, Prime Evil is released--how he got in there is never explained, and even though he looks like the Grim Reaper, he still has the Jacob's Ladder thing in his mouth. He kills the explorer and the android, using the human skull and the android parts to fashion the familiar helmet for himself.

Nix, You rule. That is an interesting if not mindblowing concept but... I still think his head is cibernetically-enhanced... it's not just a mask/helmet... What if he used the android's head to "fix" his damaged ghostly face?

What if he used the android's head to "fix" his damaged ghostly face? Hmm...I don't think his face is "damaged" so much as it has a really unsightly overbite, and that's why he wears the Herbst Appliance (a high-maintenance orthodontic device which brings the jaw forward, which may explain why he's so grouchy--I too had to suffer the indignity of wearing one of these for a year...)
