What about Jake Kong (Sr.) and Eddie Spenser (Sr.)'s personalities?
What's the best description for each of them?

I like the episode where its implied Spenser has no personality! I think Kong is definetly brave. I would say Kong is the smarter of the two but never really thought he was all that bright. They kind of have a brotherly and friendly insult war at times. It seems they're both very sarcastic. I need to watch some more episodes again They have a great comedic chemistry. Throw in a guy in an apesuit and you have a winner!

I like the episode where its implied Spenser has no personality! LOL... is he crazy, rather than idiot? Could be. Wondering when they met each other for the very first time in their lives, how many years before the events depicted by the series...

The first episode I saw of this original series was "Dr. Whats-his-name" where Dr. Frankenstein is looking for the mind of a fool to place into his monster. Having grown up with the cartoon version, it seemed natural that the choice was "Eddie." It's not so much that he's an idiot, he's the comic relief. Which isn't so far off from real life as some people might think. There's always someone who provides comic relief. Particularly in this ep: "My hang-nail is gettin' better. My hang-nail is gettin' better." - I love it.
