During the night Odd choice. But that's the best we can get. I'm a bit disappointed too.

During the night Odd choice. But that's the best we can get. I'm a bit disappointed too. After reading the list a few times I have concluded a few things.... Prime Good, I'm not sure if you watch Adult Swim or if you have that there, but its a late night block of cartoons aimed for adults on Cartoon Network. Anyways it looks like they are sort of doing this here based on this list. By now, most kids that watched those cartoons have to be 30 like myself and you. Anyways, most of the daily cartoons look for preschoolers.

Yeah, Devil, I got your meaningful point but:
1- They should try to "grab" new youngsters and make them know about these fantastic cartoons.
2- At 3:00 a.m. most of the 30andsomething people are quietly sleeping. We got a d**n job and cannot awake like zombies the morning after. LOL.
Anyway:
12:00 AM: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 12:30 AM: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 1:00 AM: She-Ra 1:30 AM: She-Ra 2:00 AM: BraveStarr 2:30 AM: BraveStarr 3:00 AM: Ghostbusters 3:30 AM: Ghostbusters
Yes, we hit Cartoon Network, Boing and some other satellite channels dedicated to cartoons.

Whats interesting is that in the 4 am and 5 am slots they use shows that only had runs of 26 episodes. Looks like this station just doesn't care, they are feeling holes. Think about it 14 episodes a week.....
Apparently whoever owned the filmation block (Classic Media) was cheap and thats why they did it.

Having them aired is better than not having them aired. This is it. Let's cross the fingers, some youngsters must see that, I guess.

I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I missed the first two episodes, but I'm at work today--I got in at 10 am, which meant I had to get a lot of sleep. I'll try again later tonight.

I agree with Devil, they're going for the original fans, filling a void, and doing it cheaply (money wise, not content wise - those are all GREAT shows! Including ones mentioned in another thread, Fat Albert, Lassie, etc)... Yeah, Devil, I got your meaningful point but: 1- They should try to "grab" new youngsters and make them know about these fantastic cartoons. Yes, it's such a shame kids today don't get to see the wonderful 80's cartoons like that, with all their charm and good messages, and just plain imaginative fun! 2- At 3:00 a.m. most of the 30andsomething people are quietly sleeping. We got a d**n job and cannot awake like zombies the morning after. LOL. LOL Yes! So true. And if one's looking for work, they still shouldn't make a habit of staying up so late Yes, we hit Cartoon Network, Boing and some other satellite channels dedicated to cartoons. That's cool, I wonder what they play for you, because I know a Boomerang in Brazil (I know that's not where you are, but just an example) was playing the 80's cartoon Pink Panther & Sons a few years back!

GhostBuggy,
The RTV agenda will counterbalance QUBO's, so we have nothing to complain anymore. It seems like a good deal of people is gonna rediscover the classic Ghostbusters, thank God.

I have a feeling it'd just leave them feeling a bit confused! The kiddos only really know the Aykroyd and Co. guys, and if they saw our show, they'd just look at the screen and go "...whut?"

I have a feeling it'd just leave them feeling a bit confused! The kiddos only really know the Aykroyd and Co. guys, and if they saw our show, they'd just look at the screen and go "...whut?" It is true that such confusion happens to most folks, and many kids probably felt that same way way in 1986, since most know Columbia's GB (except maybe a few really little kids, who knows), but many people of all ages don't know FGB75 came first*. So that confusion is understandable. But simultaneously, the theme will catch their ear, and they'll try the show because it's new to them, and by the end of that episode they'll be fans like us ;D Of course, what I've said in the paragraph above this is in theory only, since FGB's on at a crazy hour on Qubo. But RTV's time slot isn't so bad - there's hope yet! Even though I never liked getting up at 8:30 am (and still don't) a lot of people do, and it's better than 3:00 am and 3:30 am like Qubo! But hey, it's still a double shot of GB, so that's cool, and just the fact that it's on TV again is amazing! So I can't totally bash either channel - I must give credit where it's due *At least some kids of the 70's and early 80's still recall FGB75, like Prime Good! I wonder how many of the original college age fans that Mr. Bob Burns mentioned (on the DVD or in our interview) remember it well, and are here. Hard to get the answers when most here don't post It'd be great if everyone who signed up for the site would stop in and say a couple of lines once in a while

Kids can do extensive research in only 3 minutes and read everything about the 2 Filmation Ghostbusters teams and found our forum and the Wiki at the very same time.So people, have faith in the double shot, this is a massive exposure. There's no more confusion when you google a whatever name and you get TONS of mega-infos about it. The hard times are over. ;D
