*Update* ;D Take a look at the bottom of this page. www.zeichentrickserien.de/ghostbus.htmApparently the first 2 of Germany's FGB comics are translated from English comics, but the 4 other ones are not known where they came from. Still a mystory, but now we got some info.

So, Germany got 8 issues total? (I see 2 in the pic that aren't US covers.) I know the US got 4, so this is interesting!

No, heres the stats.... -First Comics made 4 comics (with the rumor that 2 more were made but not published) -Bastei-Verlag has 2 comics reprinted from First Comics (#1, and #4) and then they have 4 new ones apparently. -Annual 1987 also sees time on ebay UK ever so often. Link to auction that has Annual 1987 which looks to be a book.... cgi.ebay.co.uk/Filmations-Ghostbusters-Annual-1987-/120609597906Oh by the way, another link to a page about the Bastei-Verlag comics. (But be forewarned my adblocker did block popups on this link) www.comicbookdb.com/title.php?ID=29486 Anyways, it looks to be 6 comics plus whatever the annual 1987 is.

#1 ("A Halloween Haunting") = German: First Issue - First Story ("Gespensterjagd durch die Vergangenheit") #2 ("Ghostasaurus") = German: First Issue - Second Story ("Die Saurier-Sause") #3 ("A Haunting Christmas") = German: Second Issue - Second Story ("Das verhexte Weihnachtsfest") #4 ("Swamp Chorus") = German: Second Issue - First Story ("Die Geistermelodie der Sümpfe")
German Comics: #1 - Story 1: Gespensterjagd durch die Vergangenheit #1 - Story 2: Die Saurier-Sause #2 - Story 1: Die Geistermelodie der Sümpfe #2 - Story 2: Das verhexte Weihnachtsfest #2 - Story 3: Zukunftsgeister #3 - Story 1: Der Spuk vom Meeresgrund #3 - Story 2: Abenteuer im Gruselschloß #4 - Story 1: Wenn die Mumie böse kichert… #4 - Story 2: Das verhexte Buddelschiff #5 - Story 1: Der Spuk aus dem Wandschrank #5 - Story 2: Das Buch des Bösen #6 - Story 1: Ein Gespenst auf Urlaub #6 - Story 2: Der Unglückshut
I have them all except #4 from the original comics. The german so called translation ist awful! Better stay by the original comics, they are great!

I guess that confirms that they had made more "First Comics" but never got Published in English speaking countries. I have been questioning the release dates of the First Comics for awhile now, as they seem to not follow the monthly schedule.

Me too! It's fun having these mysteries to solve, rather than knowing of all the merchandise out there already I keep being amazed at all the items that were made for FGB! Though I admit that if a full list came our way of everything ever made, I wouldn't avoid seeing it.

I actually got lucky and found 3 out of 4 of the First published comics of the ghostbusters comic books at a nearby comic shop that's hardly carrying comics from today. It is really a gold mine for mostly 80-90s comics. Only problem with that is they might not have what you are looking for, and you are just lucky enough to even find them. But It's great when most of the comics are just one dollar a comic.
I have 4 comics in total of our beloved ghostbusters, but I'm missing the third comic in the 4 known prints. I have two copies of the second comic though, and one each of the first and fourth comic.

Just preserve the comics in the correct way, cellophane folders and maximum care.

I've had no luck on ebay yet, but found a lot of cel's (don't know how legit though) and something else. item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=320322401419&index=4&nav=SEARCH&nid=25428149145 (I'm on a cell phone, so sorry if the link might not work...) And thank you! All of the comics I obtained are in mint, or near mint condition and I bought them in hard cardboard backed, cellophane sleeves. When I'm not looking through them, I keep them lined up on my shelf with my other collection of comics. ;D

The cels must be legit. I guess... At 24 frames per second? There are a lot of cels out there, so I think we can assume that it is legit.
