Hi all! My name is Matt. I found this forum thru an invite from he-man.org. I've been a huge FGB fan my entire life. I had a site up at LetsGoGhostbusters.com awhile back..some of you may have seen it. I'll be bringing it back very soon. Its great to be here...love the forum! Can't wait to interact with other fans of the show! And I can't wait to see the site back.

h'llo there! I'm OogieBoogie, or Julie, I live in Northern Germany and... I'm an undertaker, which takes up very much of my personality I guess. FGB only just entered my conscious mind again this morning, by a lucky coincidence via my beloved search engine. I used to adore both FGB and RGB as a kid, which is some 15 years ago now. But as I was rifling through the internet today in a desperate attempt to find some kind of forum I noticed that fans of either of the shows have an underlying (or rather open) agression towards the other. I'm glad I found a place I won't be burnt at the stake for liking both. ;D

Julie, Did you really find this place via search engine? WTF? Really? AMAZING. Hahahaha LOL. What was the keyword, by the way? You're welcomed and... guess what... you're the very first woman of this board! I don't bother with the "conflict" between the fandoms... I'm fan of the TRUE Ghostbusters, and that's it. ;D

Hey, I'm the guy who's always putting Filmation references into my posts at GB Central.
And, yes, I do get e-tomatoes thrown at me every time. But I don't care. I just remember that both franchises are important in their own way.

As for fans of RGB and the live action movies I have no problem or hatred towards them, but they seem to be the ones who always have to insult and bash Filmation's Ghostbusters which is why I don't really associate myself with them or join Ghostbusters.net. It's just to much hatred towards FGB on there as well Toonzone which I am a member of. Also I don't hate the other Ghostbusters I actually like them even though I didn't like the second movie and thought the cartoon got worse the longer stayed on. I just have more of appreciation for Filmation's Ghostbusters nowadays.

Hello. I'm glad that at last I found a Ghost Busters fan forum! I'm flash animator (and programmer a bit). I'm currently working on a logic flash game. Basically described: you command your units (Jake,Tracy,Eddie and sometimes Futura) and fight against Prime Evil and his crew. I'm not so familiar with the filmation's toon (watched a couple of episodes) and the game is still in a very demo version. (note that i don't plan to sell it or something that will mess me with copyright stuff. Game designing is my hobby and what actually makes the game is the logic and gameplay(which i make up) not the appearance) So I'll be happy to have good conversation with You true fans and I hope to have inspiration and new ideas about the game, which I'll show you soon. (sorry for my bad English)

Foul, That's quite fantastic in my book! The very first amateur Filmation Ghostbusters game to date. FEEL free to ask whatever you need to know, pal! You could name the product 'The True Ghostbusters Videogame' in reference to this forum. Just write a specific THREAD on the game itself !!!!!!!!! That would truly help. Anyway, you're welcomed here.

Hello everyone, I am presenting. I write from Italy and I don't know write in a proper American ... Forgive me. I am a fan of the Great Filmation's Ghostbusters since 1987! My nickname derives from the name Italian Scared Stiff, which means translating into American Bones-Shaker. If you wish I could give you a list of names of main characters with translation into American (not all names are equivalent.) Let me know. Greetings, soon.

Well, at least the translation of Scared Stiff isn't as horrible a pun as Mr. Stay-Puft's Spanish name--he's called "Mas Malo", I believe, which translates as "More Evil" but also sounds like "Marshmallow". *headdesk*
Anyway, welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, you found us during one of our "quiet" moments, but things could be picking up soon.

Masmalo (More Evil) is also the name in Spanish Prime Evil! In Italian his name is Malefix (which means nothing but "Evil" Italian says Male). Greetings, we feel soon!
