Hello Go-ers, Time to start a positive discussion now! Has the series ever showed some "hints" of the future Ghostbusters Corps whom Futura belongs to? Any references? Also, I'm wondering if Futura wears an average costume or the official outfit of the Corps.

Hm, meanwhile I'm watching the cartoon for the third or fourth time this year, and there's no information about a corps where Futura belongs to. I think, she works alone. Why not? Jake, Eddie and Tracy are only in a threesome, as well as their fathers (with Tracy). In the books Futura seems to have more powers than in the cartoon. Or she uses more of her powers in that stories. For example she can make herself invisible and she can change her size. I don't know if she's the only one of her folk or her family who has such powers. In the books she is called a sorceress, so I think this skills aren't usual for her people. Definitely her brother and her nephew als well as the other future people didn't use such powers in the cartoon. I thought a lot of her outfit, too. I love it. It seems that this is the usual dress she wears all the time. Maybe these are her working clothes, but I'm not sure about that. At least there's no Futura transformation scene. I've just realized, that Futura has blocked a door in the Future Ghost Command with the computer terminal. ;D

I didn't remember this scene at all! So: 1- Does she display super-strength at that point? 2- Does she live in the "future" Ghost Command then?

Here are another pictures of the Future Ghost Command: These scenes are from »Frights Of The Round Table« I'm not sure if Future works in the Ghost Command anymore after leaving it in this episode, because at the end Prime Evil or rather Long John Scarechrome drops a Zombie Bomb. But I suppose so. In this episode she also uses a dematerializer! So, she's doing »old-school ghostbusting« as well!

So she doesn't belong to any Corps, she's just a "single" Ghostbuster possibly hired by Zero himself. Terrific screenshots, I love to see the Ghost Command in such a futuristic environment! Tasha, what about the super-strength?

Give me a little time, I'll work on a list. It would be fascinating to see her whole powers listed. But I have the feeling that she only uses them in case of need.

Definitely her brother and her nephew als well as the other future people didn't use such powers in the cartoon. I have to correct myself: Morrow can fly, like Futura. Maybe some of her skills are family powers after all.

I didn't remember Futura could fly! She can do it! For example in this scene: Here she rescues Jake from Long John Scarechrome. Okay, waiting for the list, Queen of the Go-ers! You're crazy! (I like this title! )

IMHO, there must be lots of genetic engineering/accidental modification in FGB's future... Futura could be a mutant - as well as Morrow and their parents - and it has been established Belfry is a mutant bat belonging to a colony.

Well… 974 years are a long time. Who can predict, where evolution will go?

Well… 974 years are a long time. Who can predict, where evolution will go? True 100%. Still, her powers are way too much for the entire human population. IMHO. If everyone is like Futura, they wouldn't need a "Ghostbuster" like her in the very first place.

That's right, but in our period there are people with different skills, too. I'm not sure if the term »mutant« is appropriate to explain her powers. Maybe she simply uses the skills and works them out more intensive than other people. I'm sure using these skills is physically demanding, so not everyone will be interested in learning them.
