Breaking News: it's just a comedy!!!

BREAKING NEWS !!!! After years of intense research, scientists have discovered that "Ghostbusters" and "Ghostbusters II" were sci-fi COMEDIES, not serious/bleak science-fiction drama movies like "Blade Runner", "Fury Road" and "2001 - A Space Odyssey". So okay, they did a sci-fi comedy starring 4 funny women as second sequel. Is it a blasphemy? Well, last time I checked, Ghostbusters movies were supposed to be funny and good for some laughs with friends. Oh, and I'm not saying they are bad, they are sci-fi comedy masterpieces. So here we go.

It's more that the humor therein falls a little flat at times.

Whatever you can say about GB84, it has this nice, understated sense of humor; GB16 sometimes feels like it's reaching--desperately--for a joke.
