Has anyone seen episodes of the new series? What's the official title? Where can I buy it?

What do you mean by "new series"? I know the live action series (1975) and the animated series (1986). Is there anything new coming?

Great artwork! Until now, I only knew the front cover art.
But looking at the back cover I wonder where Tracy is. What about him? It seems as if Jessica belonged to the team. The poor gorilla´s not even mentioned in the description. Otherwise, the cover art looks very nice. Jake, Eddie and Jessica resemble their cartoon selves quite well.
It´s nice that Dreamworks published the well-known episodes with new cover art instead of using pictures from the cartoon. But if you don´t read the description carefully you could think that it is a computer animated / CGI remake or something, so fans of the show might be confused about the DVDs (there´s one "Prime Evil" box and one "Apparitia" box).
I would love to see a remake or reboot of Filmation´s Ghostbusters, be it a live action movie / TV series or a CGI movie / cartoon. With the right script and some really good ideas our beloved cartoon could be turned into something really great.
But I´m not sure if this could ever happen. Dreamworks Animation now owns the rights to everything Filmation. If the new Ghostbusters movie is successful maybe they remember the "other" Ghostbusters and see that there´s quite a lot of potential to make a nice reboot of it?
Oh well, it´s only a fan´s dream...

Very nice point. I definitely love the new DVD cover too, but I think the back cover must be more detailed and less "deceiving". And this is the very first time in my life I see Jessica doing "ghostbusting" with the team. Thank you, Hellomark, for this great find!

Remember the episode »The Sleeping Dragon«; it was Jessica, not Futura (what would have make sense!), who fired the demateriualizer. But however, she's not member of the team! In my opinion Tracy has to be on the cover for he is the third member of the team, an important and special one in addition, not to forget the oldest member who worked with the fathers as well. It's a crime to forget him on such a project. Furthermore I'd like much more to see Futura on the cover instead of Jessica, becaus she is ghostbustress, and a professional team partner. This picture gives an uncorrect impression, especially to new fans. If Jessica has to be on the cover, too, she shouldn't be represented like this, with the ghostbusting weapon. It would be much better to show her as what she is: Reporter! For example she could join the team with her camera. Apart from that it's a wonderful work. Like Jakey I knew only the front of the covers until this picture came up here. Unfortunately there are the same episodes on this boxes we all know from the animated series. But maybe one day we'll really get new stuff - a new t.v. show or a movie…

Technically speaking, Futura is a future Ghostbuster so - no matter what - she doesn't belong to the "present time" Ghostbusters at all. Jessica could be labelled as "supporter". The team consists of three elements: Jake, Eddie and Tracy. I think they just made that back cover without putting much thought into it and they wanted a female presence between the guys anyway. I would love to get a HD scanning of the covers.
