I've noticed some of the names in both the Ghostbusters series go MISPELT or MESSED-UP. It happens everywhere. It's time to clear up things once and for all:
JaKe ------ > and not "JACK". SpenSer -----> and not "SPENCER". TraCY -----> and not "TRACEY".
Now... the pink bat and the female minion of Prime Evil ;D... let's continue!

Belfry ----> and not "BELFREY".
Now... I'm going crazy... MISTERIA (as "mist", fog) or MYSTERIA?

It should be Mysteria the original name ... But already the name in Italian is Misteria, Mistero (Mystery)... So the analogy with mystery is more understandable ...

I believe that the exchange of voice is due to the fact that fog in Italian, rather than saying "mist". While the analogy with mystery is more understandable ... Yeah, I know where you're coming from, Scuotiossa. I've always assumed it was MISTERIA, Any proof?

Yeah, I know where you're coming from, Scuotiossa. I've always assumed it was MISTERIA, Any proof? On the US DVD's are extras, episode scripts for example. She is being called Mysteria in them.

Belfry -----> and not Belfrey, I agree with Apparitia and I think it is also the right name .... Belfry if I am not mistaken is synonymous with bell ... Consistent with the character from the clarion voice and the terrible scream. About Mysteria, I informed .... MYSTERIA is the original name, MISTERIA is born to the Spanish and Italian translations .... I checked the name filed by copiright.

Scuotiossa, huge thanks for the delucidations... even if she's once and for all M ysteria, I still think the "Misteria" name is one hell of a wordplay on her powers ... too bad the creators missed this golden chance.

You are absolutely right Prime Good, it had also triggered in me doubt .... Too bad. On the other were good with the names of the other characters, much more original, for example Captain Long John Scarechrome, a reference to Long John Silver. BRILLIANT!
