Yeah that's where I've been hiding as well! They actually had a midnight release party at a game stop where I live. There was an actual Ghostbuster team al suited up doing charity work, they screened the first movie on a 20 ft screen ect.
I have beat both versions of the game and its far by the best thing I have ever played!

I have beat both versions of the game and its far by the best thing I have ever played! I havn't beat either the PC(Realistic) or PS2(Styled). I'm close to beating the PC version with only the last boss to go. PS2 is a different story, and in part whats stopping me is all the freezing the game is doing. Now one of the things I'm noticing is the Slime Blower and Slime Tether, really are a lot like the Ghost Gummer or am I jumping the gun here?

I think there's something called a Stasis Beam which functions like the Fright Freezer, too.

Exactly, Devil. Exactly.
Of course, the SEGA Genesis game had a "Bubble Projectile" as well. I wonder where they got *that* from...?

I can't even discribe how I felt when I got this and played it. The only prob I see is the PC version. Mine never worked and gamestop wouldnt take it back. ><+ But with 360 Live the fun just keeps coming, they need atleast the Scolori Bros on live as enemies since they have a nice small stock of used ghosts on it.

Yours didn't work either? I think you might need a new video card...somewhere around the ballpark of 500-750 Megabytes ought to do it. You should be able to find those in both AGP and PCI format. If you shop around, it shouldn't cost you more than $100. And don't listen to those guys who work at Best Buy, either. I find they don't know what they're talking about most of the time.

I really wished I knew how to tell that stuff my comp is fairly new, but just not sure on telling whats its ballparking in graphics. Okay, coming from the best of my memory... 1. Hit the WINDOWS START button on your main desktop toolbar. 2. Select the RUN command at the bottom of the pop-up menu. 3. When the RUN DIALOG BOX pops up, type in "DXDIAG" where you're prompted to type something in, and then hit the RUN button. You should be able to click around through the results and see what comes up. Check the Spook Central website for more information...I think its webmaster, Paul Rudoff, mentioned something about the game's requirement's being not-quite-accurate.

Play the original on this site: c64i.com/game/1362/ghostbusters/You can play it right on the page - I can't get it to work though. I don't know if I need to install something.
