Said that... bring here all the TGB fans you know... I know Germany is plenty of them! Thank you for your nice welcoming. I'm glad to be here. :3 I found your board through Google yesterday and decided to join immediately. When I was a kid I enjoyed watching Filmation cartoons a lot, but unfortunately only knew the German versions of them. Recently a friend of mine sent me a link to a Filmation's Ghostbusters clip and I was so fond of it that I ordered the DVD boxes Vol. 1 and 2 of the US version. It was definitely worth the money! I would love to bring fans from Germany here but I don't know any. This board is really awesome and I hope you will get some more active members. (As for me - I'm trying to be as active around here as possible.)

WOW! You purchased the American DVDs. How did the shipment to Germany cost anyway? And are you able to see them despite the R1 format? I'm located in Italy, you know. It's totally awesome to meet a girl devoted to this "vintage" series... and you're even 24 years old, so young! You're "outstanding" HA!

I just had to get them. The shipment costs depend on the seller - sometimes it costs 20$ (And then there are the custom duties which are about 12€ per item.) I changed the computer settings to R1 format to be able to watch my US DVD's about 3 months ago when I got BraveStarr Vol. 1. For me it's totally normal to love these cartoons. I always did.

Bravestarr kicks a*s as well but... I created a forum for Blackstar, long time before I would do this: johnblackstar.proboards98.comAs you can see by yourself, I'm a FILMATION nuts! I changed the computer settings to R1 format to be able to watch my US DVD's about 3 months ago when I got BraveStarr Vol. 1. Did this lower the resolution/video quality?

Filmation is amazing. A shame it was closed. Unfortunately I have never seen Blackstar. Besides FGB and BraveStarr I used to watch MotU, She-Ra and Flash Gordon when I was young.
