(Looks at the smoking, batterd Dematerializer again.) And I was going to say, are we sure those are THE Twin Towers, or just two random skyscrapers? I could never figure that out. Random. Sure as hell. Or alternative Earth... I love battered Dematerializers!

EXHIBIT FOUR: THE GHOST-PACKSOur latest development at ZeroInc. Technologies...dimensionally transcendental luggage! Well, it is more an interdimensional plane than a "pocket dimension".Not a huge difference, even.

EXHIBIT SEVEN: THE MICRO-DEMATERIALIZERYou might say that the Micro-Dematerializer functions as a side-arm for the Ghostbusters. Vaguely reminiscent of the Phaser from Star Trek: TNG in appearance, it packs all the punch of the regular-size Dematerializer. Given that its power-pack is so small, however, it only has capacity for three (3) full-power blasts, and a fully-spent power-pack takes at least 24 hours to completely recharge with the recharger available at Ghost Command. Due to this limitation, the Micro-Dematerializer is only useful in emergencies such as when the regular Dematerializer is damaged or otherwise out of reach. Much likely, a future team of Ghostbusters will expand this weapon, making it the "mainstream" version of the Ghost Dematerializer. I bet this is one of the few GB weapons solely conceived and made by Tracy.

Moving on: EXHIBIT TWO: THE GHOST GUMMER "You've reached the Ghostbusters. They can't come to the phone right now...they're too 'stuck-up'!"This one's a bit easier to explain, given that it's in principle very similar to a standard paintball gun. The "gum" itself is a chemical formula that tangles up ghosts, and expands on contact to provide maximum effect; when combined with gelatin, it is easily shaped into, erm, gumballs. The gun part features a spherical reservoir capable of holding up to 750 "gumballs", and requires a CO2 cartridge to fire them from 4 barrels. An electric trigger regulates rate of fire--press the trigger once for single-shot, hold it down for rapid fire. And, yes, before you ask, the Ghost-Gum IS biodegradable. ;D Naturally, users should be very careful when operating this device. You wouldn't want to accidentally gum-up your allies, now, would you? WHAT IF the gum is imbued with an electromagnetical radiation that interfers with the outerdimensional "negative" energy of the Ghosts? I just doubt the weapon offers an exclusively physical approach.

I feel Winston is a full member by GB2, definitely. In the beginning of GB2, the way he and Ray speak before and after the birthday party makes it seem like they're great friends. Add that to Winston's Ghostbusting skill, and I'd say he was definitely made as fully paid and official as the other three sometime between GB1 and GB2 Winston is the hard worker! His biggest skill is that he actually does the job, LOL.

Hmmm. Good thoughts on this subject so far, but consider this: By being vauge as to the exact time the series takes place, it adds something of a timeless quality. I watch the DVDs today and I think to myself, "What a wonderful world" (That finally releases one of my favorite shows on DVD). Then I think, "Wow! This could actually be taking place today with a few minor changes". Think about it. I don't recall there being many cultural references in the series and the technological ones can easily be juxaposed with technology of the modern era. As for the office itself (The Ansa-bone for exaple), it can be explained that it's all their fathers' old equipment, of course it's a little out-dated. It just adds to the comedic effect. Of course, it could all just be lazy and convientient writing. What do you think? CHAD, WELCOME!You're 100% right, it's timeless, the society they (the Juniors) live in seems not well defined (thank God). Mmmmm... what about the Twin Towers surrounding the Ghost Command?

Prime, would you be so kind as to pass along to Bob the plans I've put together for the Dematerializer prop replica? I just want him to see what I've done so far. 100% okay.

OH-MY-GOD I didn't see that coming, really! Looks like there are tons of WHO fans among the Go-ers, that's marvellous! (Actually, I see a connection). There was a Doctor Who manga in Japan, several years ago. On this site www.drwhofigures.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2033There's several images, check out the Daleks in it. Trogdor, Thank you so much, really! Cool.

For some reason, I'd say it takes place in 1985. Hahahahah that couldn't be far from truth, my friend.
