What about a bit of Safaripunk galore for you tonight? ;D I was thinking about a "slight" (not consistent) upgrade of the FGBs's uniforms for the new millenium. My ideas in short: -JAKE-Transparent googles, spiky hair a-la Billy Idol. Dark brown shoulder pads. Dark brown gloves. Tech necklace upgraded. Same 1986 uniform basis. -EDDIE-Googles on and not off anymore. STOP! His uniform is already perfect. Maybe looking more muscular and less "bulky": he's older now. What do you think about it?

I am old. lol I'm not sure where the designs would have gone after the show, but the show seeked to combine magic with tech unlike sony's ghostbusters. Magic hasn't changed much, but tech advices has. Off hand the Safari look was to be something like the hunters that went on hunts. The original ghostbusters really didn't dress up to catch ghosts so not much to base future designs on there. Perhaps going off a police motef would be viewed as modern?

Though I admit I am a fan of everyone's FGB artwork (no matter how they change our heroes and villains) if it EVER turned out that they made a new show, I would say this: I like the idea of the changes, as long as it's still got that 1986 Filmation look, sound and music In other words, we can change the way they choose to dress, and what tools they use, but keep them drawn the same, other than that. Now I know times change, etc. I mean, FGB86 is not exactly like FGB75, of course. We went from a 70's style (with many earlier influences) to an 80's style - (and both shows are super cool!) but the difference with that change, and today's styles is that those decades just rocked, period. Wheras I'm not so big on a lot of the modern shows...even if I like their stories and characters, if seems I have to overlook the animation and music and dialogue/words they use...I miss the 80's (and early 90's!) and earlier decades tv show feel! Same goes for commercials, movies and music, etc. (But, at least there are some new bands that go for the classic sound - and better yet, bands from those eras still rocking like Mr. Billy Idol!) Sorry I went off topic...point is, long story short, I like these ideas you have, Prime!

And possibly the shoulder-pads...his costume can't really have too many elements of Eddie's. 2. I would like to see Eddie use the goggles more often.
